Midjourney Style Reference Codes, a visual catalog for explored codes
Each of these tables provides a visual overview of up to 100 sref codes. For the range from 0 to 599 (the first six tables below), I’ve documented every style reference code. Starting from 600, I am only referencing sref codes that I find unique and interesting as after a while a lot of the style references codes provide similar results. Plus, I’m lazy and creating the row for each sref code is a bit of work. When viewing the catalog, if it is wider than your screen, you can use the Ctrl and +/- keys to shrink browser content +/- 10%.
I’ve tried to be generally consistent in providing a variety of images that are typical of an sref code. The left hand side is a man and woman (usually) as we want to get a feel for how the style handles humans. The next column over is an amalgamation of three images. The first one will be a vehicle of some sort (usually a “car” or “futuristic vehicle”) with the two following pictures usually being a famous city (i.e. Paris) and an architecture feature (i.e. bridge).
YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary), but using the “–sref sref_code” in MidJourney will result in images with a similar look and feel. This can be combined with the style weight parameter (–sw) and a numeric value between 1 and 1000, where the higher the value the more “artistic” the image will be. The default style weight is 100. Where things really get interesting is that Midjourney allows you to blend styles (and provide weighting to the styles) which can result in some very dynamic images (and some that just don’t work out).
